2012 New Year resolution

With the start of the New Year comes relief from Holiday food, reminiscing on last year ups and downs and then the inevitable – New Year resolutions.

So here it one of mine.

After putting few more than one sentence long post on Facebook to my “friends”, and not including word “cute” it them and consequently getting any replies, I have decided it is the time to start bragging about myself in a blog.

There are many other reasons for me to sit here in front of the old PC and just write anything of some or of no value , instead of punishing myself with some computing problem.

First of all, my son has been bugging me to write my memoirs.

My long time high school friend I recently visited in “the old country”, Ivan, said pretty much the same.

I would like my blog to be a sanctuary to express my emotions without putting “cute” words in them and / or putting up with some czar site moderator who has different views on the subject.

Next – I definitely need to improve my communications skills, specially when it comes to usage of the dreaded “the” and “a /an” articles.

My typing skills are pretty much nil also, and writing computer programs does not help much. There is not much call for typing TRACE (“\n”) in any text, except computer language.

Eventually I would like to write short stories in Emmett Wattson's – Lesser Seattle news columns style.
